Sheriff Israel and the Sheriff’s Foundation of Broward County recently presented HANDY (Helping Abused Neglected Disadvantaged Youth) with a $6,000 donation at their 11th Annual Scholars Breakfast. HANDY scholarship recipients who have graduated from college in the last year were recognized at the event. HANDY serves over 1,300 high-risk young people across Broward County. The proceeds were raised as part of the 5th Annual Sheriff’s Foundation Cup Golf Tournament.
