The Sheriff’s Foundation Medallion is awarded to recognize an individual’s contribution to the mission of the Sheriff’s Foundation of Broward County. BSO K-9 Unit Sergeant Ian Sklar successfully guided over 90 participants through two K-9 training sessions for the Sheriff’s Foundation Academy and Classroom in November 2015. Sgt. Sklar’s professionalism, dedication and meritorious efforts advanced one of the four pillars of the Foundation’s mission: Crime Prevention/Civic Education. We congratulate Sgt. Sklar for his outstanding efforts to expand the mission of the Sheriff’s Foundation of Broward County and his performance reflects great credit upon himself and the BSO K-9 Unit.
