On September 10, 2015, Students, Girl Scouts, Foundation Sponsors, and Board Members attended the first combined educational event of the Sheriff’s Foundation Academy and the Sheriff’s Foundation Classroom – a BSO/SWAT full-scale anti-terrorism training scenario. This training tested the skills of BSO’s SWAT team, Bomb Squad, K-9, Helicopter Unit, Communications Department, and the BSO Fire Rescue Department.
