On September 9, 2021 we observed International Suicide Prevention Week with a successful summit with over 1,600 total views on event day. Click on poster for a short video overview of the summit.

Backpack Distribution

On Saturday August 8, 2021 we partnered with Las Olas Chabad Jewish Center to distribute over 900 backpacks filled with school supplies to hundreds of families in Broward County. Thanks to Board Member John DiPrato for his leadership on this! To watch a video of the event, CLICK HERE

A K-9 Cause Inspiration Visit

In October 2021 art students at American Heritage School visited BSO K-9 Unit to get inspiration and prepare to create art for the fundraiser A K-9 Cause to take place April 9, 2022 at their school. Student art will be sold or auctioned to raise fund for healthcare for retired K-9 in Broward County. Thanks to BOard Member Nikki Ippolito-Laurie Van Allen for her leadership on this!
